Matt Casey has extensive experience in safety management, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Safety at Forward Air Corporation since May 2017, with prior roles including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Fleet Safety. Before this, experience includes serving as the Director of Safety and Materials Manager at Forest City Technologies, and as the Director of Safety at Panther Premium Logistics. Matt's early career involved law enforcement in the City of Medina and a role as Manufacturing Manager at B&C Research/Alcoa. Educational credentials include a FMCSA Hazardous Material Transportation Certification from the Department of Transportation, as well as the Ohio Peace Officer Certification and degrees in Marketing Management and General Criminal Justice from The University of Akron.
