Deep Desai

Deep Desai has held numerous roles in various companies since 2010. In 2010, they were an Intern at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where they worked on a research project that involved Geographic Information Systems, Data Mining, Productivity Analysis Techniques and Selection of Economical methods for maximum crop yield. In 2011, they were an Intern at Cisco Systems. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Developer Operations at Media.Net (Directi), where they worked on development of monitoring dashboards and an in-house Redis-Cluster, as well as automation tools like PUPPET to manage more than 1000 servers and monitoring of servers using tools like Ganglia, Nagios, Graphite, etc. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Summer Intern and then Software Engineer 2 at EMC/Maginatics, where they worked on making REST APIs to validate operations on cloud storage, as well as emulating production environment for quick dev-testing using Docker. From 2017 to 2022, they were an Engineering Manager and Member of Technical Staff at Forward Networks, Inc. Currently, they are a Co-Founder of a Stealth Mode Startup Company.

Deep Desai received a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2012. Deep then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, which they completed in 2016.
