Mark Meyer is the Executive Director of Forward Independence and has been in this role since 2023. Previously, they served as a Managing Director at Sylvan Benefit Consultants from 1996 to 2012 and as a Consulting Actuary with Van Iwaarden Associates from 1996 to 2015. Mark also held positions at Mercer as Principal and at Deloitte & Touche as an Actuarial Consultant. They earned a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BS in Math and Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mark is a retired attorney and actuary.
