Steve Nix

Steve Nix has extensive experience in the gaming industry, holding leadership roles in various companies. Steve is the CEO and Co-Founder of ForwardXP, an independent game developer working on an unannounced title and developing a new AAA game franchise. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Yvolver, Inc., which created a Player Engagement Platform for mobile game developers. Yvolver was later acquired by AdColony. Steve also served as the Division Vice President and GM of Digital Distribution at GameStop, where they focused on developing the digital strategy and accelerating digital revenue. Steve was the Director of Digital Platforms at id Software, where they led digital publishing and mobile game development, and the Director of Business Development, managing external game development projects and licensing. Steve's earlier experience includes being the CEO of Ritual Entertainment, where they delivered AAA videogames and licensed game engine toolsets to reduce development time. Steve partnered with various companies, including Electronic Arts, Activision, Valve, and Eidos, on popular franchises such as 007, Lord of the Rings, Medal of Honor, Star Trek, Tomb Raider, and Legacy of Kain.

Steve Nix holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. Steve also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business.
