Subash D'Souza

Subash D'Souza is a seasoned professional in data engineering and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of Data Engineering and AI/Machine Learning Architecture at California State University, Office of the Chancellor, since October 2019. In this role, Subash develops tools aimed at enhancing the student application process and increasing graduation rates for the largest four-year graduation system in the nation. Additionally, Subash leads cloud data engineering initiatives and has founded Data 4 Good, Inc., an organization focused on leveraging data for community benefits. Subash's extensive experience includes organizing Data Con LA, participating as a member of the Data Governance PMC and User Advisory Board at the Linux Foundation, and consulting through Archangel Technology Consultants, LLC. Subash holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
