Foster Heating & Cooling has proudly served Vancouver Island since 1928, becoming one of the region’s most trusted and capable HVAC and refrigeration providers. With over 40 certified technicians operating out of offices in Victoria and Duncan, we deliver full-service solutions to a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

Foster specializes in commercial HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and retrofits—including work on multi-family residential buildings, office complexes, institutional facilities, and light industrial sites. Our team brings deep technical expertise, rigorous safety practices, and a commitment to operational excellence on every job.

We also maintain a strong and growing Class A Gasfitting and commercial boiler division, enabling us to service and maintain larger, high-input heating systems for facilities that demand maximum performance and efficiency. Our investment in this specialized capability has made Foster a go-to partner for property managers and owners of large-scale mechanical systems across the region.

On the residential side, we continue to lead the market in energy-efficient home heating and cooling solutions—from heat pump installations to air conditioning and comfort system upgrades. In fact, Foster was the first company on Vancouver Island to install and service a residential heat pump, and we remain at the forefront of sustainable HVAC innovation.

At Foster Heating & Cooling, we combine the resources of a large, skilled team with the service mindset of a community-based company. Whether you manage a portfolio of properties or are upgrading your home, we are committed to delivering dependable, high-performance HVAC and refrigeration solutions that stand the test of time.
