David Melling

David Melling is a seasoned hardware engineering professional with extensive experience in forensic science innovation and military applications. Currently serving as the Hardware Engineering Team Leader at Foster+Freeman since February 2021, David previously held significant roles at General Dynamics Land Systems as a Principal Power/Vetronics Engineer and at Ultra Electronics PALS as a Senior Electronics Engineer and Electronics Engineer. Additionally, experience includes positions as an FPGA Engineer and Hardware Engineer at L-3 TRL Technology from August 2009 to March 2013. David holds a degree in Electronic Engineering & Cybernetics from the University of Reading, completed in 2008, and attended Long Road Sixth Form College from 2002 to 2004.
