Foster Texas, a child placing agency licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, builds a partnership network for community leaders, community service organizations and providers, foster parents, and other stakeholders to help children, traumatized by abuse, neglect, and displacement, through a healing process and become cherished members of a permanent family.

The goal of foster care is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for as long as it takes for a child to realize one of the following permanent outcomes. Whether the goal is to return home safely, live with kin, move into a permanent family through adoption, or make the transition into independent living, Foster Texas is licensed to facilitate.
