FosterCare Sports unites the local sports clubs across Australia to support children in foster and all forms of out-of-home care, ensuring every child has the chance to experience the joy of playing local sport and being part of their local club.

We make it simple for children in foster and out-of-home care to join a local sports team. Firstly, foster parents, carers or case workers register their child's interests to play local sports.

Our volunteer team then finds and connects them with a welcoming local club who partner with us to remove common barriers — such as closed registrations, fees, or access to uniforms and equipment.

Through this initiative, our aim is to make local sport more accessible for the 45,000+ children in out-of-home care across Australia.
