Derek Yang

Derek Yang has extensive experience in corporate communications and growth strategy, having served in various leadership roles at FOSUN from August 2015 to November 2021, including Deputy Chief Growth Officer and Secretary General of the Fosun Ecosystem Committee. Prior to this, Derek held the position of Senior Manager for Corporate Communications and Branding at 三盛宏业集团 from July 2014 to August 2015. Derek began a career in journalism at 新民晚报 as a reporter for the Economy News Report Department in early 2014 and spent nearly a decade as General Director of the Economy and Politics News Report Department at 上海夕报 from July 2004 to December 2013. Derek holds a Master's degree in Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, both from Fudan University, with the Master's completed in January 2014 and the Bachelor's in January 2004.
