David Perring

David Perring, FLPI has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of corporate learning and technology. David currently holds the position of Chief Insights Officer at Fosway Group since June 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Research at Fosway Group from September 2010 to June 2023.

Before their tenure at Fosway Group, David worked as a Global Learning Technologies Consultant at RSA Group from November 2008 to September 2010. David also gained experience as a Principal Analyst on a contract basis at Elearnity, Europe's No. 1 independent Corporate Learning Analysts, from March 2008 to October 2008. At Elearnity, they provided independent expert research, analysis, and advice on corporate learning, e-learning, innovation, and best practices for learning technologies.

In addition to their roles at Fosway Group, RSA Group, and Elearnity, David served as the Head of Learning Solutions and Technologies at Virgin Media from March 2005 to February 2008. David began their career at ntl, where they held various positions including eLearning & Blended Learning Manager from January 2003 to March 2005, and eLearning Consultant from September 1999 to January 2003.

David Perring, FLPI earned a B.Ed Hons degree in Humanities from Swansea University between 1985 and 1989. In 1995, they obtained a certification from CIPD. In 2017, they became an LPI Fellow and, most recently, in 2021, they joined the LPI Advisory Board.
