Ariel Jackson

Vice President of Research and Development at Found Energy

Ariel Jackson has extensive work experience in various research and development roles. Ariel is currently the Vice President of Research and Development at Found Energy since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Ionic Materials, Inc from January 2022 to August 2022.

Before joining Ionic Materials, Inc, Ariel held positions at L3Harris Technologies - Open Water Power where they served as a Senior Scientist from November 2019 to January 2022, and as a Research Scientist from April 2019 to November 2019.

Ariel also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2015 to June 2018, where they focused on their research.

Earlier in their career, Ariel worked as a Graduate Researcher at Stanford University in Dr. Thomas Jaramillo Group from August 2011 to December 2014, and in Dr. Yi Cui Group from October 2008 to June 2011. Ariel started their research career as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University in Dr. Dunbar P. Birnie Group from June 2007 to May 2008.

Ariel Jackson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Ariel then pursued their Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained their Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2014.
