Walid Owais

Walid Owais is currently a software engineer at Found. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer at Square from July 2016 to May 2020. At Square, Walid was responsible for leading development on product requests from sales to complete rebuild the onboarding flow to increase top of funnel conversion, focusing on easy of use for the newly launched Payroll mobile apps. Walid also built the first version of the Payroll mobile apps for iOS and Android, using the Cordova cross platform library with some custom plugins in native code.

Walid Owais received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
