Mahmoud Elbeleidy

Mahmoud Elbeleidy has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Finance at Founda since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Finance at Covestro from January 2020 to July 2021. Mahmoud also worked at Hotmart as a Group Financial & Business Controller from March 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Regional Sr. Financial Analyst at Merck from April 2014 to February 2017, where they led financial analysis and planning processes for multiple regions. Mahmoud's earlier experience includes working as a Regional Team Lead Accounting at Booking.com from June 2009 to March 2014, and as a Junior Accountant (AP) at Apache Corporation in 2008. Throughout their career, Mahmoud has gained expertise in financial management, budgeting, variance analysis, supply chain, and internal controls. Mahmoud has also been involved in ERP system implementation projects.

Mahmoud Elbeleidy received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management from The German University in Cairo, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2016, they obtained the certification of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the institution Certified Management Accountant: CMA. In 2018, Mahmoud earned the CSCA (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) certification from CSCA®. In 2020, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from ThePower Business School. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained the certification of Certified in International Financial Reporting (IFRS) from ACCA.
