Aligned with the global perspectives of SDGs, and National Policies adopted by NITI Aayog, FISS was established on August, 2016 to act as a platform for integrated and inclusive socio-economic development and growth in Northeast India. FISS endeavors to bridge the gap between the vulnerable sections of the Society and the resourcefulness of the Government, Corporate, and the Non-Profit Organizations.

Its vision to create value driven social engineering for progressive transformation aims to drive social transformation by defining standards, setting good practices and honoring the values of participation.
