Foundation Media Partners is a production, publishing, and brand partnership company building the next generation of global entertainment franchises.

We work at the intersection of film, television, music, publishing, sports, and consumer brands. Partnering with authors, IP owners, and category-leading companies to develop stories and franchises that travel across every screen, shelf, and stage.

Our team has produced and adapted hits including The Bad Guys (DreamWorks/Universal) and The Bad Guys 2, Thelma the Unicorn (Netflix), and Glisten and the Merry Mission. We represent a roster of authors with 60M+ books sold and partner with iconic brands like Build-A-Bear Workshop, Varsity Spirit, and Scrapyard. Through our Foundation Books imprint, we've inked a multi-year publishing deal with Macmillan and a first-look agreement with Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, unlocking 100+ years of literary IP for film and TV.

Founded by Patrick Hughes and headquartered in Los Angeles, Foundation is built for creators; empowering authors, brands, and storytellers to push boundaries, retain creative ownership, and grow their worlds across every medium.
