Robert Mathis

Robert Mathis is a highly motivated, innovation-driven professional in the Companion Diagnostic and Medical Device industry, currently serving as the Director of BioPharma Solutions at Foundation Medicine. With extensive experience in tissue-based IHC and ISH product development, they have successfully led technical teams through all phases of RUO/IVD assay development. Previously, Robert held positions at Quanterix and Leica Biosystems, where they focused on assay development and management, strengthening partnerships with pharma collaborators. They hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
