Joe Corsi

Joe Corsi started their work experience in the US Army in October 2005, where they served as a Captain and Officer of Infantry and Signals/Cyber Intelligence until August 2012. After that, they joined Paychex in September 2012 as an Information Security Project Lead, and later took on roles such as Senior Infosec Manager in Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Senior Infosec Manager in the Security Fusion Center / SOC. Currently, Joe is serving as the Chief Security Officer at Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company since March 2023. Joe also has previous experience as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Excellus BCBS from January 2022 to March 2023.

Joe Corsi completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at St. Bonaventure University from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Rochester from 2014 to 2016. In terms of certifications, they obtained the following: GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from the SANS Institute in 2013, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from the EC-Council in 2011, and Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2019. Additionally, they acquired certifications in the Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK, Foundations of Purple Teaming, and Introduction to FIN6 Emulation Plans from AttackIQ, all in October 2020. Furthermore, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2019.
