Kent Walker

Kent Walker has a long history of working in the tech industry. Kent began their career in 2008 as a Temporary Employee for CR Fletcher. From 2009 to 2010 they held the role of IT Specialist at Syracuse Cooperative Federal Credit Union. Kent then worked as a Technical Support Consultant for Sutherland Global Services from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Network Operations Technician for Usherwood Office Technology. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Systems Engineer for ICS Solutions. Kent then worked as a Desktop Engineer for Oswego Hospital from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Help Desk Specialist at Bankers Healthcare Group, Inc. Kent then worked as a NOC Operator for Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) from 2017 to 2018. Most recently, they have been a Software Engineer at Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company since 2022.

Kent Walker obtained a Front End Web Development Certificate from freeCodeCamp in 2016. In 2003, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. From 2001 to 2003, they attended the State University of New York College at Oswego and studied Computer Science. Additionally, they earned a CompTIA A+ certification in November 2009, a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification in January 2018, and a CCENT certification from Cisco in November 2017.
