Laxman Pandey

Data Engineer at Foundry Digital

Laxman P. has a wealth of work experience. Laxman began their career in 2006 as an NSF REU Student at Texas A&M University. Laxman then worked as a Chemistry Intern at Anheuser-Busch and Apath in 2007. That same year, they worked as a Research Chemist/Chemical Engineer at Novus. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they authored seven (two first author) peer-reviewed publications. Laxman then became a Lecturer at Georgia Southern University (2013) and SUNY Geneseo (2017). Most recently, they started working as an Assistant Professor at D'Youville College in 2018. In 2021, they began working as a Data Engineer for Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company, where they help miners build tomorrow's decentralized infrastructure.

Laxman P. completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from McKendree University from 2003 to 2007. Laxman then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational study of Organic Electronic Materials from Georgia Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013. Laxman has also obtained certifications in Intro to Deep Learning from Kaggle in November 2020, Machine Learning from Coursera in November 2020, Intermediate Machine Learning from Kaggle in October 2020, Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX in August 2015, and Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science from edX in May 2015.
