Carl Jones

Carl Jones is an experienced seed investor and board observer, currently serving at Foundry Lab since October 2018, where focus is on innovative metal production technology. As managing partner at WNT Ventures, starting November 2014, Carl champions emergent frontier tech across various sectors including AI and cleantech. Previous roles include director positions at TDRI Solutions, Argo Navis Aerospace, and Arcanum AI, where contributions have been directed towards sub-surface detection technology, chemical propulsion systems, and AI-driven solutions, respectively. Carl has also provided insights as a board advisor for Nyriad and served in earlier finance roles including investment manager at NZ Growth Capital Partners and fund analyst at McConnell Group Limited. Carl holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from The University of Auckland.
