Kurt Schmidt

Kurt Schmidt is the President, Partner at Foundry, a company they co-founded in November 1991. Kurt has over 25 years of experience in the field of visual communications and interactive design. Kurt has worked as an adjunct instructor, lead interactive designer, and senior producer. In 2010, they became the digital strategy director for The Nerdery, a position they held until 2016 when they returned to Foundry.

Kurt Schmidt earned an Associate's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Brown College.

Kurt Schmidt reports to Nils Hansen, CEO, Founding Partner. They are on a team with Seth Goodlaxson - Director of Production, Jason Spidle - Director of Design Operations, and Carolyn Jensen - Director of Communications.
