Omkar Nadkarni is a seasoned software engineer specializing in applied machine learning with current experience at Foundry since September 2025. Prior to this role, Omkar served as a Computer Vision Software Engineer at Mark Roberts Motion Control from September 2021 to September 2025, where contributions included the development of software for robotic control using C++17, Qt, and Python, and enhancing real-time object detection by upgrading models and optimizing performance through GPU acceleration. Earlier, Omkar was an Autonomous Robotics & AI Intern at OttonomyIO in mid-2021, focusing on the performance evaluation of object detection models.
