Terry Riyasat

Terry Riyasat has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Terry began their career as a VFX Supervisor at Acme Pictures in 2005, where they stayed until 2014. In 2012, they worked briefly as a Sigrapph Presentation specialist at luxology. From 2005 to 2017, Terry worked as a Freelance Artist, providing compositing, 3D lighting and rendering services, and creating tutorials for various professional training sites. In 2015, they joined The Foundry as a Creative Specialist, later progressing to the role of Head of Creative Services for the Americas, where they managed a team and collaborated with studios and engineers on software efficiency and product feedback. In 2017, they became a member of the Visual Effects Program Advisory Committee at George Brown College. Terry currently holds the position of Global Head of Creative Services at Foundry, starting in 2021, and will transition to the role of Director of Creative Services and Learning Content in 2023.

From 2002 to 2004, Terry Riyasat attended the International Academy of Design (Toronto Film School), where they studied 3D Animation.
