Sydney Parker

Sydney Parker is a seasoned writer with extensive experience in various editorial roles, currently serving as a Senior Staff Writer at foundry10 since March 2020. Prior to this position, Sydney worked as a Print Magazine Editor and Freelance Writer for Seattle's Child from May 2016 to May 2020. Between January 2017 and March 2020, Sydney contributed as a Freelance Writer for the Emmy Award-winning show Articulate with Jim Cotter, which explores cultural expressions. Additional freelance writing engagements include work for Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project, Seattle Met, VICE Media, Racked, The Atlantic, The Hairpin, and AfterEllen between 2015 and 2018. Sydney holds a BA and BFA in Journalism and Dramatic Writing from New York University, completed in 2010.
