Four Groups have developed a new approach and proprietary tool called 4G to understand behavior, relationships and culture. 4G provides its users with insight into personal characteristics, how relationships develop within teams and groups and how culture can be best defined and managed. Based in part on the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, 4G incorporates measures of people’s strengths, creativity, motivations and weaknesses. 

But 4G provides more depth than legacy systems by viewing social profiles, relationships between two individuals and a breakdown of group values and cultures. Four Groups Is used to predict and manage the difficulty or ease of relationships between team members, and is useful in reducing turnover and improving work performance especially in times of change.
