Ted Ipsen

Ted Ipsen has had a long and varied career in the field of information security. Ted began their career in 2001 as a Strategic Information Security and Risk Professional. In 2009, they became the Application and Product Security Manager at Vertafore. In 2011, they were hired as the Director of Operations at iSEC Partners. From 2013 to 2020, they were the Vice President & Director of Security Training Services and Regional VP & Director of Risk Management and Governance Services at NCC Group. In 2018, they became the Vice President of Curriculum and Eminence Grise at The Prelude Institute. In 2017, they were hired as the President and COO at Positroniq, LLC. In 2020, they became the Chief Information Security Officer at Goodwell Technologies, Inc. In 2021, they were hired as the Head Mechanic at 418 Intelligence Corp. and Principal Security Consultant at TIFFIN CYBER LLC. Ted is currently the vCISO at Salt Cybersecurity.

Ted Ipsen attended the University of Washington from 1986 to 1990, studying Society and Justice.
