Laura Velasco, SSM, is an experienced program manager with a strong background in human resources, technology, and operations management. Currently, Laura serves as a Program Manager II for the Alexa & Echo Family Device Support team at Amazon, with a previous role as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services. Additionally, Laura contributes as a Career Readiness Instructor for FourBlock since August 2023. With a decade of service in the US Army, Laura held positions including Senior Human Resources Manager and Law Enforcement Operations and Training Manager, where significant improvements in productivity and resource allocation were achieved.
