Xin Chen

Xin Chen has over four years of work experience. In 2018, they were the Robot Control System R&D Director at Fourier Intelligence, where they were responsible for R&D team organization and skill training, development process management, and cooperative research work management. Xin also held the role of Robot Control System R&D Manager, where they designed and setup the robot control system framework, realized the robot control algorithm, and developed and maintained the EXOPS open platform. Additionally, they were the Project Manager of the Product ExoMotus H4, an exoskeleton target for spinal cord injury individual users. In the same year, they were a Research Scholar at The City College of New York, where they helped the team setup the gait detection related algorithm. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Lenovo, where they helped colleagues build an Excel-based data management software. In 2015, they were an Embedded Software Intern and an IOS Software Intern at 成都香子信息技术有限公司, where they learned to configure the Bootloader of the Linux System, configure the Linux System, and write hardware driver based on the Linux System.

Xin Chen has an education history that began in 2011 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Tianjin University. In 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Control Science and Engineering from Beihang University. Currently, Xin Chen is pursuing a Master of Philosophy - MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Xin Chen has obtained two certifications: a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2021, and a “可编程控制系统设计师”国家职业资格证书（二级） from the 国家人力资源和社会保障部北京市职业技能鉴定管理中心 in 2015.
