Kim Phan

Kim Phan has a diverse work experience. Kim began their career as a Peer Success Coach at the University of Illinois Chicago in July 2020 and held this role until May 2021. During this time, they also worked as an Orientation Leader from May 2021 to October 2021. From August 2021 to May 2022, Kim worked as an Admission Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago. Kim then became a Student Coordinator for New Student and Family Programs from October 2021 to January 2023.

In addition to their university roles, Kim also gained experience outside of academia. Kim worked as a Multimedia & Marketing Cabinet Member for the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Midwest from April 2022 to the present, and as the Director of the Programming Committee for the 20th VIA-1 Conference from November 2022 to April 2023.

Most recently, Kim has been accepted as a People Operations Intern at FourKites, Inc., where they will begin their internship in June 2023.

Kim Phan began their education at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, where they obtained a High School Diploma in English Language and Literature/Letters from 2016 to 2018. Kim then attended De La Salle Institute in Chicago, IL, earning their High School Diploma in 2019. Currently, Kim is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Illinois Chicago, which they expect to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Kim has also obtained two certifications. In 2018, they earned the Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Microsoft Office Word 2013 from Microsoft. In 2020, they completed the Virtual Experience - Human Resources Program at GE, further expanding their knowledge and skills.
