Mit Patel

Mit Patel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mobile application development and team leadership. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Foursquare since July 2020, Mit leads the consumer team in creating innovative mobile applications focused on location-based user experiences. Previously, at Sprout Social from January 2015 to July 2020, Mit held several progressive roles, ultimately managing a team of engineers and significantly improving the iOS app's performance by rewriting it in Swift. Mit's career began in PeopleSoft consulting, with roles at various organizations, contributing to multiple projects from 2002 to 2015. Mit holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City University.
