Matthew Garbutt

Matthew Garbutt started their work experience in 2009 as a student at Staffordshire University. Matthew then worked as a caricature artist at Artistic Licence from July to November 2012. From August to November 2012, they worked as a character animator at Falchion Games. In October 2012, they joined Game Retail Ltd. as a sales assistant, and worked there until May 2013. From May 2013 to October 2014, they worked as an animator at CPL Training Group, where they eventually became an animation team leader from October 2014 to January 2016. Matthew then worked as a senior animator from January 2016 to April 2017. Matthew also worked as a freelance animator at Skullmonkey comics from April 2017 onwards. Finally, they joined Fourth Wall Creative and Fourth Wall as a 2D animator and animator respectively in February 2018, where they currently still works.

Matthew Garbutt attended Netherstowe High School from 1999 to 2005. Matthew then went on to study at Staffordshire University from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a BA HONS degree in Animation.
