Phil Stone

Responsible for identification and selection of portfolio holdings and trading. Member of the Board of Directors. Previously Chief Investment Officer of Driven Capital Management, a family office, managing a global portfolio of equities, fixed income, real estate and private equity holdings. The core of this portfolio was the long/short financial sector strategy upon which Fourthstone was founded. Stone was part of a two-person investment team at The Observatory, a large family office, and was also a bank equities analyst at a long/short financial sector hedge fund and worked as a regional bank credit analyst. Stone is a CFA® charterholder. MBA in Finance from Loyola College in Maryland and a BS in Economics from the University of Maryland.
