Ruby Chen

Ruby Chen has had a long and successful career in the media industry. Ruby started in 2005 as a Producer at NBCUniversal, Inc., where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) as a Producer and held that role until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Ruby served as the Executive Producer of Special Projects at FOX 5 San Diego. Most recently, they were promoted to the position of Assistant News Director at the same company in February 2019.

Ruby Chen attended Arcadia High School for an unknown period of time. Following high school, they studied at UC San Diego, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies & Psychology. Additionally, Ruby pursued further education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on International Communication & Media Studies.
