James then joined HiiL as a Qualitative Desk Researcher, supervising a desk research study on the rule of law in the MENA region. Next, they worked as a Contract Researcher at International IDEA, conducting research on constitutional drafting processes in Guinea and Mozambique. James also worked as a Research and Advocacy Associate at World Without Genocide, conducting research and representing the organization at international conferences. Additionally, they held positions as a Photographer at Carnivale.NL and Motel Mozaïque, documenting events and performances. James also gained legal experience as a Legal Assistant at Duco Lodder Corporate Law Boutique. Most recently, they worked at FOX Global, starting as a Location Manager and transitioning to a Warehouse Operator at the company's headquarters.
