Wouter Jansen

Wouter Jansen is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in IT and digital forensics. Currently serving as a Lead Security Analyst at Fox-IT since December 2012, Wouter has held multiple roles including Senior Security Analyst and Software Engineer, where contributions included the development of an open-source forensics framework and enhancing its performance. Wouter's expertise extends to business security consulting, forensic investigations, and incident response, with a history of working in SOC environments and performing digital investigations. Prior to Fox-IT, Wouter held various IT engineering and administration roles at Applus RTD and DCI Meettechniek, where responsibilities included managing complex IT infrastructures and supporting end-users. Wouter holds a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
