Emily J. has worked in various roles since 2013. Emily began their career as a Bioinformatics Intern at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2013. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer Intern at StataCorp. In 2016, they were a Biostatistics Intern and Automata & Computation Theory Course Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Dimensional Fund Advisors. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Walmart Technology, where they held the roles of Software Engineer 2, Software Engineer, and Software Engineer IoT. Emily is currently employed as a Full Stack Engineer at Fox Robotics, where their responsibilities include a data/analytics dashboard, an image annotation website, and deployment of these apps throughout the company. Emily is the first developer in two years to be able to launch, update, and deploy the image annotation website, and plays an important role in how the image annotations interact with the company's Machine Learning processes.

Emily J. completed their education in 2018, graduating from The Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Bellaire High School from 2010 to 2014.
