Daniel McAteer

Daniel McAteer is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in corporate security and law enforcement. Currently serving as Manager of Corporate Security at Fox Corporation since January 2024, Daniel held the position of Director of Security at Sofitel NYC under Accor from July 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, Daniel was the Director of Safety and Security for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) from December 2015 to July 2021. Daniel's background includes managing a branch at US Security Associates and serving as a Senior Investigator at Gold Shield Liability Investigators, focusing on product failure investigations for General Motors. Daniel's career began in law enforcement with over 20 years at the New York City Police Department, retiring as a Detective in the Organized Crime Control Bureau.
