Laura Simon

Laura Simon is an experienced broadcast journalist currently serving as the Weekend Morning Anchor/Reporter at KTVI FOX 2 since September 2022, where responsibilities include solo anchoring a three-hour weekend newscast and pitching exclusive stories from the St. Louis area. Prior to this, Laura was a Weekday Morning/Noon Anchor at TEGNA from April 2018 to September 2022, and a Weekend Morning Anchor/Reporter at Tribune Broadcasting from June 2014 to April 2018, during which investigative reporting on government misspending was conducted. Laura's career began as a General Assignment News Reporter for Nexstar Media Group, with earlier experiences including a role as a Weekend Anchor/MMJ Reporter at KTVO-DT and an internship at NBC Universal-WMAQ-TV. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism-Television from Columbia College Chicago and graduated from Francis Howell North High School.
