Alan Chien

Alan Chien has a strong background in system integrated testing and project test management. Alan started their career at Inventec in 2002 and worked there until 2008, where they were responsible for BIOS and Linux testing for HP servers as well as managing test equipment and collaborating with the RD team. In 2008, they joined Bishounen Country International as a Senior Test Engineer, focusing on embedded OS system testing for mobile devices. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Yingda where they led multiple testing projects and achieved the best rating in ML585 lead. Alan then joined Foxconn in 2011 as a System Integrated Testing (SIT) Senior Engineer and Project Test Lead, where they implemented BIOS testing for Netapp server, collaborated with the RD team, and managed test equipment and test plans.

Alan Chien has a Master's degree in Asia-Pacific Executive Master of Business Administration (APEMBA) from National Sun Yat-Sen University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Information Management from Aletheia University, completing it from 1997 to 2000. Alan also attended St. John's and St. Mary's Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Junior College program in the Department of Electronic Engineering from 1992 to 1997. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alan has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, EPC of IoT Export, Project Management Professional, The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) - N3, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Sun Certified Programmer (SCJP).
