Andrew Wu

Andrew Wu has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Membrane Protein Research Intern at Academia Sinica. There, they optimized conditions for reconstituting bacteriorhodopsin in nanodiscs and performed molecular cloning and purification. In 2015, they worked as a Resin Engineering Researcher at TOA Resin Corporation, where they produced acrylic and amino resins and conducted quality assurance tests. Currently, Andrew is working at Foxconn as a Product Development Engineer, specializing in CMF (color, material, and finish) technical lead. Andrew has collaborated with Apple to bring products into mass production, developed surface treatments for iPhone colors, and improved metal-plastic bonding strength and waterproof yield through nanometer and micrometer level etching processes.

Andrew Wu received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego between 2012 and 2016.
