Simon Wu has over 26 years of experience in procurement and material management, currently serving as Section Manager of Strategic Procurement at Foxconn since April 2003. In this role, Simon leads a team focused on cost reduction and achieving strategic targets, while also selecting System on Chip (SOC) and Memory components in the early stages of product development. Prior to this position, Simon held roles such as Supervisor of MP Procurement, overseeing project material planning from the PVT stage to mass production, and Team Leader of Material Control for NPI and MP Projects. Simon's earlier experience includes serving as Purchase Supervisor at Uniden and as a Buyer at State-Holding Xinji Energy Co., Ltd. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Material Management from China Coal Economic College, obtained in 1997.
