FP-AFRICA is a specialised sustainability, governance and sustainable-finance consultancy serving energy and infrastructure businesses, investors, project developers and public institutions across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia and the wider EAC and COMESA regions.

Our mission is to transform sustainability ambition into measurable commercial value. Unlike conventional ESG advisers focused on measurement and disclosure, FP-AFRICA combines sustainability advisory with legal de-risking, regulatory compliance, project bankability and sustainable-finance readiness. Our work is anchored in energy, infrastructure and environmental regulation, helping clients protect assets, reduce transaction risk and unlock capital.

We support clients across the project and investment lifecycle—from ESG and regulatory diagnostics to environmental and social due diligence, governance, stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting, ESG data automation, investor readiness and post-investment monitoring. We identify legal, regulatory, environmental, social and governance risks that may delay approvals, weaken bankability, increase financing costs or expose projects to liability, then convert them into practical controls and implementation plans.

Our regional knowledge is reinforced by alignment with international standards, including IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, GRI and SASB Standards, TCFD recommendations, IFC Performance Standards, World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, the Equator Principles, the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals. We also support compliance with national frameworks, including Kenya’s NEMA and EIA regime, the Climate Change Act and NSE and CMA ESG guidance.

FP-AFRICA does more than measure ESG performance. We legally de-risk projects, strengthen compliance, protect asset value, improve investor
