Mark Jacobson

Mark Jacobson has over 25 years of experience in sales. Mark began their career in 1994 as an Inside Sales Representative for Accton, where they exceeded their monthly quota of $200,000 by an average of 20%. In 1995, they joined Proxim as a Senior Inside Sales Representative, where they were an original member of the channel sales team and developed relationships with 9 of the 10 top Healthcare IT companies. In 2003, they became a Senior Inside Sales Representative for Netgear and was a member of the VAR channel sales team. In 2004, they joined AIRAYA as a Senior Inside Sales Representative for the Western US and Canada, where they contacted over 50 prospects, VARs, and distribution sales reps each day. In 2010, they joined Streakwave Wireless as an Account Manager, where they sold indoor and outdoor unlicensed (WiFi), and licensed wireless networking solutions to WISPs, resellers, VARs, and self-maintained endusers. In 2012, they returned to Exalt Communications as an Inside Channel Sales Manager, where they sold wireless networking equipment (licensed and unlicensed microwave radios) for creating private networks to Oil and Gas, Education, Healthcare, Enterprise, and Government vertical markets. In 2014, they joined BridgeWave Communications as an Inside Sales Specialist, where they followed up on registered deals with VAR/reseller for status, and updated management. In 2015, they joined Exalt Wireless as an Inside Channel Sales Manager, where they made over 25 calls per day which are a mix of cold calls to prospects, following up on opportunities, and to existing partners. Finally, in 2017, they joined Proxim Wireless as a Western Region Sales Manager, where they made over 40 calls per day which are a mix of cold calls to prospects, following up on opportunities, and checking in with existing partners. Mark also hosted presentations using Zoom and Teams to prospects, and existing customers. Theirtarget markets are DOT (ITS projects), local gov't agencies, Security Integrators, Surveillance Camera manufs, and Water Districts (SCADA related).

Mark Jacobson received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. Prior to this, they attended Santa Clara University and Cupertino High School.
