Grace Kim is a Vice President in the Compensation Consulting group at FPL Associates and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Kim’s responsibilities include compensation planning and structuring for both publicly traded and privately held companies and assessing various elements of compensation programs, including employment and severance agreements and compensation disclosures. Ms. Kim’s experience also includes compensation planning related to internalization and restructuring transactions.
Prior to joining FPL, Ms. Kim served as a Senior Consultant on FTI Consulting’s Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance Solutions team, where she assisted both public and private companies on a wide array of compensation and governance matters. Prior to this, Ms. Kim worked as a research assistant for Harvard Business School analyzing the economics of compensation within private equity firms. She also served as an adjunct lecturer on finance and has over four years of research experience in the area of corporate finance, including in matters related to corporate governance and executive compensation.
Ms. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College, a Master’s in Business Administration from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, and an M. Phil in Finance from The City University of New York. In her free time, Ms. Kim enjoys cooking, hiking, crossword puzzles and practicing calligraphy.
