Julia Sweeney

Julia Sweeney is the Managing Director, Leadership Consulting at FPL Global. Julia has over twenty years of experience working with global organizations across industries through both internal leadership roles and external consulting. Julia has a proven track record in designing and delivering talent initiatives that enable strategy alignment, leadership development and realization of business goals.

Prior to joining FPL Global, Julia was the SVP, Talent Development Solution Director at Lee Hecht Harrison from January 2019 to May 2022. In this role, they partnered with clients to design and deliver talent initiatives that enable strategy alignment, leadership development and realization of business goals.

Before Lee Hecht Harrison, Julia was with Korn Ferry as an Associate Client Partner from February 2014 to January 2019. In this role, they listened to clients, uncovered solutions and developed leadership competencies to respond to changing markets. Julia also created engaging experiences using interactive technologies as tools, simulations, and blended learning.

From January 2013 to December 2014, Julia was a Senior Partner at Upper Diamond where they brought innovative approaches to small- and medium-sized companies while continuing to serve global organizations.

Julia started their career in learning and development at Kaiser Permanente where they were the Director, Learning & Development Hawaii Region from February 2010 to May 2011.

Julia Sweeney received their BA in Communications from Purdue University and their MS in Organization Development from Loyola University Chicago.
