Daniel Crotzer

Daniel Crotzer has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daniel started their career as a Nuclear Propulsion Officer in the US Navy from December 2004 to October 2009. Following that, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from June 2010 to April 2012.

Daniel then joined Xtreme Power as an Operations Center Manager in April 2012, where they led a team and managed activities related to an $80 million project. Daniel also utilized predictive analytics to create a real-time energy trading platform, resulting in an estimated annual revenue of $3.3 million.

In November 2013, Daniel became a Principal Consultant at Fractal Energy Storage Consultants. In this role, they performed market analysis for over 500 MW of utility and C&I energy storage and solar projects. Daniel evaluated financial aspects of unique energy storage Use Cases and Business Models and collaborated with executives to devise strategic roadmaps. Additionally, they saved millions in project costs by accurately sizing energy storage systems.

Most recently, Daniel has been working as the CEO of Fractal EMS since August 2018. Fractal EMS is a turn-key energy storage EMS that offers comprehensive command, control, monitoring, and management functionalities for energy storage assets. Daniel's responsibilities include overseeing the hardware, software, integration, monitoring, and maintenance aspects of the company's operations to maximize safety and profitability.

Daniel Crotzer pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Daniel attended the institution from 1999 to 2004, focusing on the field of study pertaining to civil engineering. Following this, they furthered their academic journey by enrolling at the Texas McCombs School of Business to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Daniel completed their MBA (Full-time) program from 2009 to 2011, specializing in business administration and management. Throughout their education, Daniel Crotzer displayed a dedication towards enriching their knowledge and expertise in both engineering and business disciplines.
