Eric Horowitz

Eric Horowitz is an experienced professional in technical operations and analytical development within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Technical Operations at Fractyl Health since December 2023, Eric has held key positions including VP of CMC at Sastra Cell Therapy from September 2022 to December 2023 and Sr. Director of Analytical and Process Development at Akouos from September 2018 to September 2022. Previous roles include Associate Director of Analytical Development and Sr. Manager of Quality Control at Voyager Therapeutics, as well as Quality Director and Quality Control Manager at UNC Vector Core. Eric's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University, complemented by a post-doctoral fellowship focused on the chemistry/virology interface.
