Maureen Cormier

Maureen Cormier has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research field. Maureen started their career as a Nurse Practitioner in Hepatology at UMass Medical Center in 2000. From 2000 to 2007, they also worked as an RN, FNP, Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator at UMass Medical School. In 2007, they joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Science Liaison II and stayed with the company until 2013. Maureen then worked at AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they held the position of Medical Science Liaison at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. In 2018, they joined Insmed Incorporated as an Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are employed as an Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison at Fractyl.

Maureen Cormier obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Framingham Union School of Nursing between 1978 and 1981. Maureen then pursued a BSN and an MSN in Nursing, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner, at Regis College from 1999 to 2004.
