Thomas McGilvray

Thomas McGilvray is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in design and team management. Currently serving as Design Engineering Manager at FRALOCK since June 2017, Thomas oversees a team of design engineers, performs transient thermal simulations, and has significantly enhanced efficiency by reducing unnecessary activities by 85%. At Oasis Materials, Thomas has held the position of Senior Design Engineer since September 2013, specializing in high-performance ceramic heaters and manufacturing engineering functions. Prior experience includes a role as a Science and Math Teacher at Fusion Academy and a Graduate Student Researcher at the Laboratory for Energy Storage and Conversion, complemented by a Master of Science in Materials Science from the University of California, San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
